BBC coverage of Europe is not impartial, says report

LONDON, England (AP) - The British Broadcasting Corporation is failing to be impartial in its coverage of European issues, according to an independent report released yesterday.

The report, commissioned by the corporation's board of governors, found there was an "institutional mindset" within the BBC and a tendency to over-simplify and polarise issues.
