Requiem for ex-Africans

Requiem
for ones wholly dependant
on what the semite stole
manipulated
and sold
back to them
Banking the profits
in the damp mouldy
vaults
of it's own shady
soul.
It is one thing
human
to be decieved
another to embrace
hard
the deception
lathering yourself
with droppings
and then claiming
cleaniness.
Hear this African
confess
What is a noah
a shem
a ham or
a japhet
to me?
Nothing.
Hear this African
assert
What do I care of adam
or some other
self-proclaimed
abdullah?
I have my own description
of the first days.
Why would I
raise above all
abraham
issac
jacob or
any of thier
descendants?
If I wish to heap praises
on a pious murderer
I could find plenty
closer to home.
Had I hungered
for sustenance
from the fruits
Of a tree watered
from seed days
with the blood of
innocents
I would not need to look
into the so-called middle
east all I need
is right here
in my own yard.
When I seek
the Light that feeds
the life that nourishes
the light within
me I have no need
to look into the so called
middle east all
I need
is right here
before me.
Ex-Africans
Dedicate your temples
tommorow
to the hand-hackers
of sierra leone
to the 'warlords' of Congo
the dapper diamond whores
the cool coltan hustlers.
If you wish to worship
some prayerful tyrant
let me suggest
sani abacha of nigeria
to you
Why not him?
Why not our own
African monsters?
Is it that they are too
hmm too
Black?
Let them into your
ex-African hearts
As every single one
from joseph kony
to charles taylor
would be right at home
in those judaic chronicles
Let them in
psalm them one
and all.
Quick to critisize
with your ex-African
intellects
African 'gerontocrats'
and tyrants
while holding on to script-ya
like a baby
on the breasts
of a dead mother.
Like a baby
on the breasts
of a dead mother
You will get
no sustenance
Because the roots
of that script-ya
is buried deep
in the intent
of portraying men
of dubious nature
as 'prophets'
of the 'most high'
and 'divine royalty'.
Surely you have heard
That the blind
cannot lead the blind
That this
is not advisable.
Surely you have heard.
"Smite the heathen
Leave no man (or his cattle)
alive."
Words once heard
in Canaan
and now heard
in Sudan.
And yet
these so called conscious
Africans
ruminating like a herd
of sheep
on a toxic waste dump
will not lift thier eyes.
The best poison
they say
is often very easy
on the eyes.
I have heard
Could it be true
That you would take
the leash
from around your neck
ex-African
from the hands of 'whites'
and hand yourself over
to semi-'whites'.
I have heard
Could it be true
that you
ex-Africans
are self-haters
Ones with the concept
of your own inferiority
implanted so deeply within
that even when you claim
to seek freedom
you come up short
of the target because
there is a part of you
that sabotages
the enterprise.
Because you have no
'faith'
in thier real self.
Again
Ex-African
You have no
faith in
your real self.
A defect justified
by quoting the enemy's propaganda
by using the same incantations
that were constructed
to deseminate the concept
of inherent/eternal flaws
within the African personality.
So it is easy
to drop the description
given to you by one demon
only to adopt
the description given
by another demon.
"I am no longer
to be called
richard
my name is now
usman
or maybe
simeon".
"I will give up
chritianity I am
become a moslem
or maybe
a hebrew".
Pieces of deception
whose passages are eased
with the lubricant
of false identification.
The 'white' is the demon
who devised the ex-African
The ex-African
who can no longer
deny
the nature of it's creator
The ex-African whose
pride
will no longer permit
the extravagant servitude
of yesterday.
The ex-African who
can no longer
justify
the depraved appetites
of it's maker
The ex-African whose
weakness
will not permit
The act that will sever
all links
So the ex-African
decieves
itself.
It continues to serve
the demon who made it
By staying within the constructs
devised by
the demon
who made it.
The leash is no longer
a hard wire
It is now
infra-red.
So before any of these
try again to climb up
on some high pulpit
in order that he may preach
to others
let me remind them all
of the implications
of thier empty sacks
No eunuch ever won the title
"Father of the nation."
The one with a 'foolish conception'
is one who claims
to have an African mind
and yet cannot express
that mind without
an uncritical use
of concepts derived
from non-Africans.
I would never claim
superiority of Yoruba culture
over that of the Igbo
the Dogon
or some other African culture.
I would never claim
that Gullah culture
is superior to any other
African culture.
But hear this African
proclaim
That I will forever assert
within any space
dedicated to Africa
how the Hausa
the Luo
the African voice
of Ayiti and yes
every other
African culture
is superior to all
non-African cultures.
Again
Within a space
dedicated to Africa
the cultures represented by
junkanoo
the carnival
By the Oromo and
every
other African community
is superior to all
non-African cultures.
Within a space intended
to represent Africans
our aspirations
the superior orientation
is the one based
on this knowledge.
But perhaps I speak
unjustly
perhaps one of them
these
ex-Africans
can prove me wrong
Make a point
Make your point
without any reliance
on what the semite
gave to you.
This is me asking
one of our African judaists
to put the holey babble aside
Express a view of reality
from the perspective of an African.
I ask
but I know this to be
a waste of time
Because the usual response
would be to quote some African
who is himself quoting
a semite.
Yes
If asked to leave direct
reliance
on the semite aside
they fall back on indirect
reliance
and claim fulfillment.
Return to your African self
What reason
has any African got
not to be living
from an Africa
centred perspective?
Know
that the gap
between these alien
things
even if they are 'based'
on African thought
and what has Africa
as it's
centre is infinite.
Know that the ones
who gave you your
handicap
did so for a reason
Ask them why
if there is only
one God
ask them why
why it is most vital
that It be called
by thier name
Why it is
that those who call
another name
for this one God
are called heathen
kaffir
pagan
Godless.
If there is only one God
that we all speak of
just as there is only
one sky
that we all live
under
what does it matter
if I name this sky
under which we all
breathe
the "Black One"
What does it matter
if I call it so
in the middle of the day?
As long as I point upwards
when I speak
should you not know
of what I speak?
Unless
you speak
of something else
Which I suspect to be
the truth
because you
speak of a blue sky
and a bluer sky
but you know not
where that sky is
And yet you say no one
should dare speak
of this sky
or that sky
except in the terms
that you have described it
That you say
is true monotheism
I reject that
which rejects
me
I am not so lost
that I seek a home
anywhere.
Unlike
the ex-Africans
I see clearly why
I should reject that
which rejects
me.
