Can you hear the screaming of innocent voices?,
Can you see the effects of our disastrous choices?,
Can you take back the thinking of those viscious thoughts?,
Can we win again those meaningless battles we have fought?,
The battles we have fought are nothing compared to the battles to come,
The battles to come can only be won by our suns,
The sun of course is the blackman, the sun cannot exist without a moon,
The moon indeed is the black woman and together our hearts must be intune,
Together we must exist in the same book and on the same page,
Together we shall quench the insatiable desire and rage,
Rage against the dying of the light,
Rage against the violence that destroys all life,
Rage against all the things that bring us pain,
Rage against the things that make us insane,
Rage against those who force us into incarceration,
Rage against those who try to deter our determination,
Rage against those who fuel self extermination,
Rage against the self extermination we've witnessed for generations,
Rage against the evasions of the truth,
Rage against those who have no faith in our youth,
Rage against those who give us false education,
Rage against those who destroy our inspiration,
Rage against the dying of many innocent faces,
Rage against the anger and hatred that leads us to distant places,
Rage against the struggle within ourselves that allow us to succomb to defeat,
Rage against ourselves when we feel we have become obselete,
I will end this with a quote from "The Unknown Poet and Queen",
Who sees and overstands everything put before us and what lies in between,
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate; Our fear is that we are powerful beyond measure; It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us..
We ask ourselves, who am I to be bright, beautiful, talented, and blessed? In actuality, who are you not to be?....

                 BLESS!!
