Standing alone in the
center of the galaxy
Grammatically defying gravity
Is the poet experiencing the high
only known to himself/herself
Beyond the outer reaches of Earth
Is a poet inhaling the creative
energy of the Universe
Getting high off of the possibility
of language
In love with the wonderful ways
that words connect and the way
that poetry manifests itself
from the depths of the abyss

We breathe in the beautiful
and exhale unparalleled patterns
of miracles in motion
Because we get high
Spiritually and mentally high
enough to explore the infinite
mind and conjure lines of
supreme poetical designs

We need not synthetic drugs
to take us to that sacred space
where we embrace
elevated forms of consciousness
Poetry is our bliss

Time transcends the very moment
we grab pens and begin to
purge into utopia
The process is one of progress
and never ending euphoria

When reaching the poet's high
we are known to electrify
to magnetize
to open third eyes
to help the masses realize
the propaganda and lies
At the peak of our highs
we become the most wise

It is this high that keeps us
returning to our poetical roots
To continue to bring forth beauty
and truth

We should first show solidarity with each other. We are Africans. We are black. Our first priority is ourselves.

The truth be told my sistren.  The conscious are high with creativity and the blind are high with synthetics.  I would like to share a thought with you knowing you will surely appreciate it:

I've been dealt a hand of reality
A dose of conscious sobriety
I see me, I please me
Please be pleased to see
I'm just me being me
Lessons learned and more for sure
Keep me from the goyim lure
Study steadily for an inner find
A higher kind, a truth divine

I too copyright all of my poetry, for thieves will come in the night and claim ones thoughts as their own.  Your poetry is worthy and your cause is righteous.  Trod forward...

More Heights,
Happiness
