"Rapper Azealia Banks took to Twitter to advocate for reparations. The 23-year-old entertainer put out a series of tweets decrying major corporations for profiting off of slave labor.
“ITS MY MONEY, AND I WANT IT NOWWWWW!!!!!!” Banks said in a tweet Friday. She said that these companies owe African-Americans up to $100 trillion. She even went as far as naming corporations such as Aetna, New York Life Insurance and JP Morgan Chase who she claims have benefited off of slavery. "
