I am nothing with out my soul
Bleeding Out

Here I Lie Alone
Trapped in your cage
your cage,
your realm,
your mind
Chained to your thoughts and
nailed to your insecurities
I feel so drained
of tolerance
of me
of everything
I know you are the cause
yet I choose to look away
Still in the dwellings of my mind and Jah
I know and I can see now
see you
see me, see it all die
Slowly but not fast enough
It stigma stills linger on
I want this to end, to be free again
My desire and yearn is so strong
and yet I am so weak
as I lie here
Trapped
in your cage. in your realm, your mind
Heart Broken and Self Imaged Destroyed
Bleeding Out

I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become reality.

Thanks for this poem. I have felt like this over the past two days. I am struggling to keep in touch with Rastafari. It is a narrow trod but I must return to the path without straying.
Blessings.

Having read read this poem almost four months down the line I am so glad to announce that I did find my way back to the trod of Rastafari and it feels great! Stronger than ever.
Peace

Blessing Ras Tyehimba
What really inspired me to write this poem was my own feelings on how rastas were treated like if babylon would be glad if all of us committed suicide and just die, since they kept on attacking us mentally but we are proving them wrong by holding on strong and staying with our thoughts and Jah and we would stay on our trod to Rastafari through the thick and thin..
