Life at times is like a book of strife..
Hit after Hit you try to survive
Wondering who oh why how could it be
How can this be happening to me
Our great grand parents paid for this deed unmercifully
Yet you still try to enslave me
by your thoughts
Your actions
And your LIES
Why can't all this jus die
I want to be free, yet you try to hold me
But no longer will you hold me cause
I have a dream
A dream to be FREE
A free black woman that all can see
No Shackles on me
No Bonds on my feet
No more insults I'll have to take
No more comments of how you
Raped and Torture me both
Physically and Emotionally
Just Free, Free at last
So All can see
