Dream angels
Whispered secrets of flight
to me
as they stood, as if it were commonplace
under the guava tree in my back yard.
They drew me to them
And covered me with robes, woven from
old mythologies and ancient histories
and sprinkled new born stars
and yellow allamanda through my hair.
Then with fingers dipped in
Scarlet rain
They traced and patterned my back,
Staining my skin
and gifted me with wings
for dream traveling,
wings for Soul Flight.
